About Us
Victory Construction llc
We’re a locally owned and family-operated general contracting company serving the Marion County, Iowa area. Victory Construction LLC is built around a simple belief: do quality work, treat people right, and use what we’ve been given to make a difference.
For us, construction is about more than completing a project. It’s about building relationships, earning the trust of our customers, and creating something we’re proud to put our name on.
Whether we’re building a custom home from the ground up, remodeling an existing home, constructing a pole barn or outbuilding, or taking care of repairs and improvements, we approach every project with a commitment to quality craftsmanship, honest communication, and doing things the right way.
Meet The Team
Mike Caulkins
Owner & General Contractor
Mike Caulkins brings 20 years of construction experience to every project. His experience includes years of hands-on work in the field as well as serving as a project manager overseeing both custom home builds and commercial construction projects.
That combination of field experience and project management gives Mike an understanding of both sides of the construction process—from the details of how something should be built to coordinating the people, trades, schedules, and decisions required to bring an entire project together.
As the owner and general contractor, Mike stays directly involved with our projects and our customers. When you have a question, want to discuss an idea, or need to make a decision, you’ll have direct communication with the person responsible for managing your project.
Emily Caulkins
Financial DIrector
Emily Caulkins serves as our Financial Director and brings 20 years of experience in business administration to the company.
Behind every successful construction project is a lot of planning, organization, and attention to detail. Emily helps manage the financial and administrative side of the business, supporting the organization and communication needed to keep projects and the company running smoothly.
Together, Mike and Emily bring construction experience, business experience, and a shared commitment to operating a company their family can be proud of.
A Personal Approach to Construction
We believe working with a contractor should feel like a partnership.
Every customer and every project is different. Some homeowners want to be involved in every detail and decision, while others prefer to give us their vision and let us manage the process. We’re comfortable with both.
Our flexible approach to general contracting allows you to be as hands-on—or hands-off—as you’d like, while still having someone you can call directly when questions come up.
No matter how involved you choose to be, our goal is to make the construction process as straightforward, transparent, and enjoyable as possible.
Quality You Can Feel Good About
We take pride in the materials we use and the craftsmanship that goes into our work. With decades of combined construction and business experience, we understand the importance of paying attention to the details—both the ones you’ll see every day and the ones you won’t.
We believe in providing transparent estimates, communicating when questions or changes arise, and helping our customers make informed decisions throughout their projects.
We are licensed and insured, and we stand behind our work with a one-year warranty.
Faith, Family & Community
Our faith is at the heart of how we strive to operate our business. It influences how we treat our customers, how we approach our work, and our commitment to giving back to the community we call home.
With every new home we build, a portion is given to the Pleasantville Youth Initiative to help support kids in our community. It’s one way we can use the work we do every day to make a difference beyond the homes and buildings we construct.
We also set aside the first Friday of every month for “First Fruits Friday.” On that day, we provide volunteer work for a person or family in need. It’s an opportunity for us to give our time, skills, and resources back to the people around us.
We’ve been blessed with the opportunity to build for others, and we believe part of that opportunity is using what we’ve been given to serve others.
More Than a Contractor
At the end of the day, we want our customers to feel confident not only in what we built, but in who they chose to build it.
We want to be the contractor you feel comfortable calling with an idea, a question, or your next project. Whether you’re planning your forever home, making your current home work better for your family, building the shop you’ve always wanted, or simply need something repaired, we’d be honored to be part of it.
We’re here to build quality projects, lasting relationships, and a stronger community—one project at a time.
